Carbon Fiber Tank

Our Tank/Tail Sliders are made from Carbon fiber reinforced with DuPont Kevlar®, offering excellent crash protection and wear resistance. Specially moulded to fit perfectly onto the tank, they are designed to fit onto the most pronounced corners and likely areas to get hit in the event of a crash or drop. Application takes only minutes and they could save you having to replace your tank which can get dented or scratched in the event of a crash. This Carbon Fiber Tank Slider kit is compatible with the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP 2020 – 2023. In this kit you will have. A pair of tank/tail sliders. A tube of silicone sealant. Place the tank/tail slider in position so you know the area you will have to clean. Thoroughly clean the surface ensuring it is free of road-grime etc. (an alcohol wipe will ensure cleanliness). Thoroughly clean the inside face of tank/tail sliders (again an alcohol wipe will ensure cleanliness). Coat the inside of the tank/tail slider with the silicone sealant (do not use too much as this becomes messy and difficult to remove). Position the tank/tail slider and apply pressure to remove air and allow bonding. Remove excess from edges immediately as the longer this is left the more difficult it is to remove. We recommend securing the slider with masking tape (or similar) to the bike fairing/tank during the curing process to ensure proper adhesion. Please leave for a minimum of twenty-four hours before riding the motorcycle. Please do check with us for item availability. If there is no stock it will need 3-5 days for us to make it.
